'PublicCrossroads started with an ambition: to share true Neapolitan pizza with Florence. Initiated by the Rossi family in 1985, our small-scale family pizzeria was built on family recipes passed through generations.
Marco Rossi, our progenitor, mastered the craft of pizza in her Italian journey, training with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples, the homeland of pizza. Back in the UK, her mission was to offer the essence of authentic Italian pizza, sticking to traditional techniques and pristine quality ingredients.
What started as a quaint pizzeria with just 12 seats has expanded to become a cherished local fixture; however, our dedication to excellence and genuine practice is unwavering. We persist in utilizing classic wood-fired ovens, preparing our dough from scratch every day, and selecting the finest produce available.
To this day, 'PublicCrossroads' is still family-run, with the Rossi lineage at the helm, guiding our devoted crew. Although we have adopted contemporary innovations, at our core, we remain dedicated to crafting exceptional, traditional pizzas that unite families and friends.
